My first time sketching on site. I was running out of time, daylight, and feeling in my legs so had

to use it as a paint tray. Tossed papers up on the dash. Hubby was a sweetie and never said a word. LOL

I think proportion, perspective, and accuracy will improve. And even if they don’t, the paintings are still charming and make people smile.

I know this probably was not your intention, but at first glance, the two windows and the chimney made me think of the animated "Beauty and the Beast". Magical beings.

original entryway was boarded over. I bet it had an elegant door once, but the need for more bookshelves must have taken precedence. There is another library like this nearby that I shall also sketch.

Editing to say I found a pic with the magnificent doors.mhopingdoors. I’m hoping that boarding them over is just a winterizing thing.
