Your composition is very nice with the objects all placed so the viewer sees enough of the underlying details to not have to question what they’ve looking at. You have put a lot of detail in a small space, yet it doesn’t look cramped. I can see that you might have lost some light in it, but it still works, though it does seem a bit dark for your usual artwork. The total effect is still very good.

And in succeeds beautifully in the theme of travel by an artist, always ready to paint whatever impresses them, or charms, or soothes them. It breathes of the wonderful feeling of painting your world as you travel through it. There is also a yearning there, for the exotic possibilities and the promises of voyages.

Again, the objects are there, waiting for you, the viewer, to come back and use them.

Very nice.
