2. Gorgeous!

I live along the coast, and I'm always thrilled when I see the marshes that deep, deep blue. You captured it perfectly.

It relieves anxiety for me, too. I get a little crazy with anxiety these days if I go too long without drawing or painting.

10. Wow, thank you! Actually 99% of the time I end up feeling like such a failure

Not only as an artist but it becomes a global, ďIve always been a failure, always will be a failure, why am I here on earth, is it for punishment?Ē

This painting I donít feel that sense of shame and failure so itís a relief.

Honestly I donít even know why I try to make art, itís usually such a frustrating thing for me and leaves me so blue most of the time. But I feel compelled to keep trying anyway,

11. Seeing as all I can paint is walls and...

...ceilings, I would be beyond ecstatic if I produced something like this even once in my life.

14. Thank you! Okay! I'm scared to ruin it to be honest so I will let it alone. I think I will send

This one to a friend of mine in Montana who just bought a home and needs something to put on the walls. I think she might like this!

15. This one got a "like" from Aline Ordman!

On facebook! She is one of the top pastel artists in the world, her work for example was used for the cover of last monthís Pastel Journal magazine.

I am leaving it as it is, if she likes it!

Wow, I am so thrilled and encouraged! Floating on air right now!

16. Love your light! Your scene reminds me a bit of the British canal

in the salt marsh down the road.

18. I think it looks finished.

Itís beautiful and serene and your colors are deep and vibrant. It looks like the light you get at that hour of the evening when colors become vibrant, cool and serene, giving you one last look before converting the land into colorless dark shadow.

Youíre an excellent painter and very talented. You have mastered the infinite variations of light in and on nature. Your paintings are whispery soft, making the viewer hush in order to experience the scene in itís fullness. One can imagine the nature sounds of daytime beginning to become silent as the sounds of night creatures begin their calls.

Your paintings inspire. They bring forth the poet in people. Thank you so much for posting!
