It’s charming, though it looks like you might be beginning to feel restricted by the limitations of the page. Maybe you should try a larger surface and see if you like painting bigger.

I really like the colors of the businesses you paint. They’re delightful and inviting. For a quick little study while waiting in the car you captured a lot of details.

filling up the page.

This was the only interesting building in my line of sight. It’s actually a bit grayer and I didn’t quite get there. First try was mauve, then it leaned blue heading into purple. It looked nice with the yellow, so I called it good enough.

to your hearts content. If anyone wants a perfect picture they can photograph it. I prefer to see artistic renditions that are creative. So I say, “New Rule”: Artists can paint how and what they damn well please!
