Related: About this forumTrying a bigger size in paper (18 x 24) to see if I like working larger.
The buckling was worse, pulp paper dries fast even when small, and my synthetic brushes didn't help. But I think I might not mind the size once I get used to it.

That should prevent it from buckling.

Im so glad to see you trying it. When Im drawing I like a smaller canvas although the life drawings I did are pretty big. But when Im painting I prefer using large canvases that are 2ft by 3ft minimum. And theres a world of difference in comparing my drawings to my paintings. I hope you like it! Once you figure out how to lay the paint down youll do great. Maybe try a larger brush for the broad areas like the water and the sky. One that hold more liquid.
