Piaf vs Chevalier
Both toured Nazi Germany during the war. The difference seems to be that Chevalier protected his wife and career. He hated the Nazis, but went along to get along. Piaf smuggled papers to help prisoners of war escape, and other intelligence in her underwear, risking her life. Nobody was going to search her; they were over the moon that she was on their side.
Both were accused of being collaborators.
If you have to pick, be a Piaf.
