It's a family tradition to watch it on or near July 4.

Though this year, we'll be watching Hamilton, too!

...and my parents didn't so much as mention the blacklisting when we were talking about the cast.

It's also a treat to see William Daniels as Adams."Sit down, John!"

And what a turn for John Cullum, who of course was on Broadway and would eventually go on to be a regular on Northern Exposure.
