1. Thanks for these. For now, I listened to the first three and...

The first was genius and exotic. Presumably it is scored but I have no idea how it could be written or played by just the dots. Some magic going on there.

Despite the distinguished credentials and talent of the performers, the second piece was ...classic and my 3rd favorite.

And the 3rd piece, well that hit home and my favorite. Definitely some gypsy jazz going on there. Amazing technique too - I could of sworn the artist temporarily attached a clothespin to the bridge for that muted, bright effect. I imagine it was bowed almost on top of the bridge, dunno.

This non-violinist fiddler is always amazed when the top pros have at it. I'll sample the others later and thanks again.
