That movie was the first time I had ever heard the Canon, and have been utterly captivated ever since.

I don’t tolerate complaints that the Canon is hackneyed, boring, or overexposed. It is, quite simply, the most beautiful, nearly-perfect piece of music ever written.

With me it was the opposite. I was just introduced to the Canon and on the radio, in a popular songs station, they were playing the song Summer. It was driving me crazy.

When we saw the movie we waited for all the credits to roll. The very last line said Pachelbel - Canon In D Major.
