Quilting and Murder go together

I took off last year from crafting while I was attending school. I am back at it, making a quilt- sewing the blocks together now. When I quilt, I like to watch the killing and murder shows on TV, they are easier to follow while my head in down at the sewing machine or my back is turned. I used to listen to music while I sewed, but now I addicted to all the murder and killing, especially the ones on PBS.

2. Not with quilting....

But I do the same thing while weaving. I'm pretty well addicted to British crime shows. Right now I'm watching/listening to the final season of Broadchurch as I finish a set of tea towels.

6. Yes, the British mystery shows are the best

Vera is my current favorite. I think she is a take off of Columbo. She drives that old Land Rover, wears the beatup coat and floppy hat. in one show, as she was leaving, she turned around and said to the suspect, "just one more thing". So Columbo!

7. Vera is a favorite of mine too!

I'm ready for season 9 (or is it 8?!) to hit my screen. I also like No Offense it's gritty and has a lot of dark humor going on.

4. I watch them to fall asleep.

I know it's messed up. It has something to do with the narration and background noise, I think.

5. Yup.

But, for me, it's murder, mayhem and cross stitch.
