I'm just finishing my last PTO for the year

I wasn't very productive, but I got a little sewing done, anyway. I had 2 projects to complete before I can start working with the fleece-backed knit I just got.

First was to use up the leftover fabric from the shawl collar shirt. I thought I was doing a sleeveless undershirt for the deep freeze that is my workplace. When the narrow binding for the neck turned out wonky, I just thought "who's going to see it?" and kept going. But it turned out, in all other ways, good enough that it seems I've made a nice summer top. This created 2 problems. First, I'm going to have to wear it with a bra, as it's form-fitting enough to make boobage position a factor. And second, I had to rip out and do the neck right. There might have been some language involved. However, it's done and the leftover scraps from both projects can be balled up and held in one hand, before throwing in the trash. The fabric rack is too full for minor scraps.

Second, my work has suddenly decided that 'patterned scrubs are Not Professional'. I don't have a lot of solids, but I have black scrub pants and leftover black shirt-weight denim from the Dublin jacket. I now have a black scrub top to match the pants. Again, there might have been some language involved.

On to the next adventure. Maybe during the holidays - I'm back to a 40 hour week.
