Crossing Fenton Road. I honestly don't remember when it was first painted or who painted it. The band is on record saying it wasn't them.

I remember the first time I heard that song, smoking dope with some of my hippie buddies and I thought it was outstanding. It was the only song that I could remember all of the words at the ending.

...in the late 60s to the mid 70s likely learned this song.
At least nearly every guitar player of that era I've known did.
That riff is iconic.
