I see the bad moon arising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today
[Chorus]
Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

(75,665 posts)At the wine bar near our house they have solo acts entertaining on Fri/Sat nights.
I ran over there last night to see a young woman debut at the place. I liked her a lot.
Anyway, her 3rd song was Bad Moon Rising!
This is her website.

(75,665 posts)Too many of these women doing the solo guitar & singing thing around here use that baby girl delivery when singing. Sounds timid, to me.
She doesn't. She works the tune, phrases around the beat, and her guitar playing, while not technically challenging, is "comfortable". She's playing the music, not the instrument.
There's another debut over there tonight. Guy from Chicago.
I only stay a half hour, but I'll go. They haven't had a lot of new acts lately, then 2 in one weekend!
