The guy holding tge guitar on his lap, and the guy standing behind him are doing something VERY DIFFICULT!
They are both playing separate parts with their right & left hands.
One guy is plucking the strings the other is fretting & vice versa.
Even with their skills, it had to be a lot of work.
I found another version of it, and it's easier to see who belong to which arm.
The guys are picking the strings they're fretting. I missed that when I wrote that above. I am however very impressed by the guy playing the rhythm line with his left hand upside down, with no way to apply thumb pressure. That's why the third guy is holding the headstock to keep the neck stable.
It's much more obvious in the video. Starts at around 55 seconds.
