We knew the stage managers at Wise Fools & Kingston Mines.
We stopped in (I forget which place now) and they let us in the back door.
The set has just started and we were told it was a guy from Minnesota.
Next thing, I'm hearing some pretty cool guitar playing. I didn't play guitar yet, but knew some rudiments. So I'm already impressed.
I ask the guy we knew "How many of them are there?" He says "Just one." Now my 2 guitar playing buddies are equally intrigued. We go out front & sure enough, just Leo.
VMG was the first song we heard from out front. Wow!!! High skills & awesome imagination.
Glad he's found a new way to play to stop the recurring tendinitis. He's been back out playing again after a few years off.
