This song got pretty popular round town, mainly due to Pittsburgh's prideful civic belligerence.

Basically, if a song mentioned Pittsburgh it got on the radio. So WDVE, which was a mainly metal station back then, put this on heavy rotation

I don't even feel embarrassed. I loved the Babys. Kept 8-tracks in my Plymouth, cassettes in my Nova and the Anthology CD in my minivan.

2. Good Choices, Sarge

Played 2 of these over the years. Did The Zoo in the late 70s, with a hard rock band. I wasn't the lead guitarist in that band (I wasn't good enough yet), but I had a talk box. So, I played those parts.
Life During Wartime was a signature tune of our last band. We played it in at least 80% of our 1,500+ gigs together.
That band did a Babys' song too, but not this one.
