This is the way I will remember them. Bands can't go on forever and I am still coming to terms with that. I am generally supportive of bands carrying on as long as they are happy doing it. At some point when the players get replaced with younger people, it starts to get diluted. I will take what I can get.

Some genres like metal and punk don't seem to translate as well with geezers sweatin to the oldies. I saw the legendary punk band "X" do a earthy - almost country tinged show a few years back (which probably means 10..). That worked pretty well.

Cheers to JP.. Nice to see the prime time line up with KK and Glenn headbanging. They were the original heavy metal band to me with the apparel and image. Their music seems much more controlled and accessible than the metal that would follow with the double kick onslaught, guitar chugs and cookie monster vocals. JP was just great rock and roll.

Thx for link and post!

Metal commercial. I like some metalcore bands, but it doesn’t have mass appeal. Who likes being screamed at?
