You should hear that album. I'm sure you've heard the hit from it 'Big Sky Country' ... ring a bell? It's all good though. Tons of great National guitar by Chris, great songs, excellent Daniel Lanois-style production ... it'll be up your alley, trust me

Sadly, he passed from lung cancer I believe about 10 years ago ...

One of the 'soundtrack to my life' albums when it came out, I played it constantly.

Not only is Poison Girl a great rocker, but the lyrics are just awesome. Is it about a prostitute, like it first sounds? Or is it about copping heroin? You can't tell, could be either, works both ways. I love that in a song ... check it ...

moonlight over the alley
baby where I come from
there's a poison girl
a poison girl

sister do medicine business
three dollar down for the gun
she's a poison girl
a poison girl

i'll be waiting uptown
while she gone underground for a ride
i'll be waiting uptown
while she passes some trick on the side

well i'm sitting here burning my money
worth nothing if only to score
with some poison girl
a poison girl

there's a place that I know
anybody can go for a price
there's a place that I know
you'll be putting your soul
up on ice ...

well now mama said
"son what's your hurry?"
but mama don't know what I done
for the poison girl
the poison girl
