(YouTube Cmts): The Nobel Prize Winner for Poetry is an American treasure. One of the most amazing lyricists of all time.
I'm 73 years old. My generation refers to Bob Dylan as the poet of our generation - an absolute genius with words. The most important solo artist of the 20th cent. Hats off to Elvis, but as an influence on music, songwriting, poetry and social consciousness, I have to go with Dylan.
Awards: Presidential Medal of Freedom, 10 Grammy Awards, A Golden Globe Award, Academy Award. A Pulitzer Prize. Nobel Prize for Poetry. Over 145 mill records sold...
