They're miming to the studio version. I went to a couple MS tapings and they were definitely live.
As good as these guys were, I wonder why? Ballard's amp isn't even on, so maybe they weren't happy about it?
You posted a reply in your own thread that was what I was going to say.
Rod was a very good organ & electric piano player & the solo on the full version of this song is proof.
He embraced synthesizers on the "Nexus" album a couple years later.
