It was big rock show with a surprising amount of heart and a moment of empathy.
Oasis singer Liam Gallagher dedicated the song “Live Forever” to the victims of the Wednesday, Aug. 28 school mass shooting in Minneapolis at the band's Sunday, Aug. 31 concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
“I want to dedicate this next tune to the kiddies of Minneapolis -- 'Live Forever',” Gallagher said.
Two pre-teens were killed and 21 others were injured in Minneapolis. “Live Forever” was the first of Sunday night's big sing-alongs at the stadium and the crowd emphatically joined in.
