She deserves the credit. As far as what he's wearing - he's always worn jackets and parkas for a lot
of concerts and TV appearances. Oasis were inspired by the Stone Roses and that Madchester scene. Streetwear, especially sportswear. The bucket hats Reni loved.
This was the first TV appearance by Oasis, in early 1994:
First Glastonbury appearance, in 1994, Liam looking like a schoolboy (an observation made by one of the UK music magazines) in a Marks & Spencer sweater he said he was wearing because their first album wasn't out yet and they didn't have much money (and then when they did, "it all went a bit Gucci" ). From a pop culture magazine, The Face: "Dressed in jeans, a white Paul Smith shirt, a navy blue jumper and chunky shades, he looks like a school kid on a field trip."
Noel looked cool there, wearing that shirt, but Noel was several years older and had filled out, and Liam was still a skinny kid.
So the shirt Liam wore for one MTV appearance in 1994
didn't flatter him nearly as much as the jacket he wore for another MTV appearance that year:
And as he got older, parkas were useful for hiding any extra pounds he was carrying. I vaguely remember him admitting that in one interview I didn't bookmark.
When he and Stone Roses guitarist John Squire did an album a couple of years ago, they were both wearing parkas for some appearances.
