(11,801 posts)Me too! I've seen him 4 or 5 times. His drummer is the cousin of my college roommate. Everytime they came around we went.
When Scott starts the double bass and Jimbo's banging the standup.... that low frequency just pierces and echoes your chest cavity! Amazing!
And how you doing my friend? Been a minute. All good for you in St. Louey?

(13,188 posts)So for 16 days I was up at 5:30, eat the cheap free breakfast, drive to the job site by 7:00 finish at 7 PM brief the night guy do the paperwork and head back to the hotel. at the hotel at 9pm and asleep by 9:40
Company doesn't schedule days off on the road cousin, so it was 14 hour days for the whole stretch. I barely even looked at the laptop.
But what can I say - This is why they pay me the medium sized money. It ain't the 40 weeks in the office - it's the 12 on the road that pays the freight
But, I listen to the finest worksongs...

Well, enjoy the time back home. Maybe we meet up in Springfield or Champaign next time the Rev comes around, yeah?

(13,188 posts)The Polack Wife unwinds better the farther we get away from the house, so a road trip is always a plus for us.
And I make sure to take care of her too 'cause (keeping it Rockabilly) She's the most!

(11,801 posts)Ain't heard this in furevah!

(13,188 posts)so, I don't wanna make it sound like 90 days in county or anything - it's just the gig that I've been doing for 5+ years

(11,801 posts)I do four days a week on the road most of the time. But usually 4-6 hours from home. Not so bad. Plus, I spent almost a decade making piss in a traveling band. I gotta catch up ya know?

As someone who hasn't had a child, the kid would go up for adoption before I got rid of that!
You do know I jest.....partly.

(10,127 posts)She is the best of all of them. Smartest of the bunch, driven, funny, etc etc. And a nice person. All the boys do us fight and call each other dicks.
Lol. Kidding of course.
Next is an old bike. Triumph, BMW R/xx, BSA, or Norton.

(10,127 posts)I miss t-tops. I had an 87 Monte w/them. In 1991 or so. A salvage title that my grandfather fixed for me. $1200. Brown/copper colored. More stories, etc etc
It's not too late man. I bet you could find one right now. Make it your daily driver. Have a roach-clip feather from the rear view. Cassette deck, the whole thing.
Catch you in the flip brother.
