... drinks were cheap. Very little drama, no fistfights. None of my friends would ever show up.

About 20% of disco was very good (Michael Jackson was just wonderfully produced), but we could dance with most of it anyways. The only drawback? If you left an unfinished drink on the table while dancing, someone would finish it for you. A good reason to dress up a bit.
