Liam Gallagher and Roger Daltrey joined forces on Friday night in a supergroup performance of the Who’s “My Generation.” The ex-Oasis frontman took the stage with the Who singer for a two-hour special celebrating the 20th anniversary of the British TV show TFI Friday.

Filling out the one-off group were former Oasis drummer Zak Starkey (also an unofficial member of the Who) and guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, along with the Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie.

successful frontmen, with Roger still sounding great at 71, and Liam sounding as if he was born to sing a classic the Who recorded 7 years before he was born.
