I watched it again a few weeks ago and the kid is on the floor with speakers on both sides of his head listening to this song. His mom Alice yells, "Why do you have to listen to Mott The Hoople 24 hours a day?".

Martin Scorsese always uses great songs in his films.

I was a huge fan!
I had couple of their albums (the first & Mad Shadows) even before "....Dudes"" was released.
Saw them on the tour from the live album at The Auditorium Theater in Chicago.
I was nuts about that band. If it was prog or glam, I was all in.
