The Launch, Season 2

I really liked the 1st season of this show. "Ain't Easy" was easily my favourite song of the season. What an original voice!

Season 2 just wrapped after its 6 week run. What an amazing season of quality music and young new artists, ever! Building on the Season 1 success, the show was able to drawn in top-tier talent every week.

For those who don't know, The Launch is a show featuring heavyweight music industry executives, producers & songwriters, where every week young singers or groups, who audition in front of Producer Scott Borchetta, a co-host mentor with this season's being Marie Mai, and a guest musical artist. This season drew the best, including Nile Rogers (Music Producer extraordinaire), Jann Arden, Sarah Mclachlan, and even Mr Bryan Adams. Every week there is a great brand new song that the singers hope to get a chance to make their own. You find out who wins at the end of the episode and their new song is immediately "launched!".

I just bought the Season 2 album on GP for only $5.49! I look forward to many hours of happy listening. All are fantastic songs, but Down To.The Roots is my favourite!

The show is a Canadian production and aired on CTV. Catch the show online if you can, if you like good music, that is.

Peace out.
