3. Weird coincidence - I heard a Pretenders

song in a movie tonight, and realized I had no Pretenders downloaded from iTunes, so I logged in and bought a bunch of their songs just like an hour ago, and you’re posting all of them tonight. Synchronicity all up in my world tonight...

5. In 1979 their personal hair stylist became my stylist as well. I met her through a mutual friend.

I had really great hair for awhile, but the stylist - Sherri - opened her own chichi salon in LA after a couple of years and so didn't come home to northern CA anymore when she wasn't on the road with the Pretenders. My hair has never looked even 1/2 so good as it did when Sherri fixed it. She was a genius and the Pretenders were lucky to have her, at least for awhile.

Sherri only did my hair for a couple of years before moving up further in the big time in LA, but it was super neat while it lasted.
