I could have gone to it but I was too busy finishing college and getting ready for my first teaching job. Already had a new car and a steady girlfriend so I was finishing up my old summer job and not in a position to go off to some crazy concert 5 hours away.
However, I DID take time off to go to Cape Cod for a weekend and stopped at a motel in New York to watch the b&w TV viewing of Neil Armstrong taking his walk on the moon!
I was hating the war in Vietnam, and while I had voted for Nixon - yeah, my first chance to vote and I followed my parents' upbringing - but I was already realizing his lies (WHAT? a President lies?).
They were funny times - just like every other person has had..................
