But I don't really like those bands. Grand Funk is kind of a mirror image of 3 Dog and Blood sweat & tears to me.
I liked the other bands hits and disliked the rest of their crap but with Grand Funk I liked the records and thought their hits were crap

And not the usual humbucker sound. Mark Farner was highly under-rated as a guitarist during Grand Funk's heyday. Here he shows his rhythm chops to good effect.
