Music Appreciation
Related: About this forumAnyone have experience with Bose SoundTouch 10 Wireless Music System?
Just ordered one online from Best Buy. Guess I should have asked this question first! Seems to be highly rated.
Thanks

Highly recommend Bose equipment. If you want to spend the equivalent of a house, there's better equipment out there, but for the rest of us....

(4,180 posts)It's great. The software can sometimes be a bit clunky, as in occasionally not recognizing my music library, but it has been getting much better over the years, I haven't had an issue in a while. I normally connect my iTunes library to it via iTunes, but lately iTunes decided it no longer wanted to see the Bose, so I've been using the Bose Soundtouch app to listen to music and it's been working fine, so I guess they worked the kinks out of the software.
I would definitely recommend it, sounds great at low and high volume and is a trooper. Like I said, mine is easily 5 years old if not older and still sounds great. I work from home, so I have it on all day, and when we're out of the house I leave it on ambient music (like Eno etc) because one of our cats "offices" with me all day and sleeps in my office at night, so I leave it on for her.
You'll be happy with it I'm sure. The remote is a little small, so make sure you keep it in the same place all the time, it's easy to lose!
ETA: Mine says it's a SoundTouch 999.
Just what I was looking for.
Enjoy, and happy new year!
