...the album was released in 1970.

I saw their Chicago appearance on the infamous 1972 tour which resulted in the controversial documentary film "Cocksucker Blues," which the Stones sued to stop from being released. The director (producer? or both) was allowed to screen the movie once a year somewhere, but not release it any other way, apparently.

Back in the early 90s I saw a screening of the film at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Very disturbing film, to say the least.
