On of the things that jump out at me

With this band is it's willingness to share the shine

I especially appreciate the juxtaposition of upper register female Blue grass vocals with the unapologetic black baritone of the MCs.

If this was just a punkbilly collective with a drum machine I'd hate it.

But both of the MCs in this joint just kill it

Tunes that stuck out on first listen were:
Barnburning
Gunslinging Rambler
When the Deal Go Down
Pulling Everything with Me
Home (from their latest live album ... really dig that one).

and that was the case with these guys - I kept seeing 'em in my "recommended for you" scroll and I ignored it for a while.

When I finally clicked on one of the vids- well it didn't take long for me to get to be a fan.

I describe them as "A Black Thought collaboration with Dead South" - The only problem is that Dead South fans never listen to the Roots and vice versa
