when I am showing them how to oil their kick drum pedals. Once they hear it they get a light bulb moment and once you’ve heard it you can’t unhear it.

Still a kick-ass track though, no doubt about it. Thanks.

I’m a non-drummer drummer.

I definitely would have been a good drummer had I pursued it. I’m always “drumming” on my legs or a table, etc.

I had an opportunity to actually play one song with a band many years ago. When we we finished, the real drummer said, “You’ve never played drums or taken lessons or anything before?” I told him, “No.” He was astounded at how good I was for a guy who had never sat behind a set of drums. I wasn’t surprised at all. I knew I could keep a beat, and knew what to do with my feet even though I had never had any kind of instruction.

One of the highlights of my life. I loved it. Loved it! I wouldn’t have been a Keith Moon or Ginger Baker, but I truly believe I would have been a more than competent professional drummer had I pursued it.

And that’s my one and only drummer story.

And that you have patient neighbors. It’s one of life’s greatest pleasures and I am glad you got to experience it at least once.

Thanks again for posting that song, I didn’t mean to sound like I was slagging it. I’m a HUGE Bonham fan and can never pass up a chance to hear him again.

The squeaky kick drum pedal is one of the things that makes this my favorite Zep tunes! Oh, you cut me deep man, cut me deep!
