(4,122 posts)when I am showing them how to oil their kick drum pedals. Once they hear it they get a light bulb moment and once youve heard it you cant unhear it.
Still a kick-ass track though, no doubt about it. Thanks.

(649 posts)Im a non-drummer drummer.
I definitely would have been a good drummer had I pursued it. Im always drumming on my legs or a table, etc.
I had an opportunity to actually play one song with a band many years ago. When we we finished, the real drummer said, Youve never played drums or taken lessons or anything before? I told him, No. He was astounded at how good I was for a guy who had never sat behind a set of drums. I wasnt surprised at all. I knew I could keep a beat, and knew what to do with my feet even though I had never had any kind of instruction.
One of the highlights of my life. I loved it. Loved it! I wouldnt have been a Keith Moon or Ginger Baker, but I truly believe I would have been a more than competent professional drummer had I pursued it.
And thats my one and only drummer story.

Thanks again for posting that song, I didnt mean to sound like I was slagging it. Im a HUGE Bonham fan and can never pass up a chance to hear him again.
