(50,949 posts)Maybe it was just because the two of them weren't doing the songs that made either of them famous, and only those that they collaborated on.
I know Neil Finn toured for years with Crowded House and they were huge, so he must know how to do it.

So I am guessing he had much better tours before and after.
His music is great. I've always been a fan.

I got a handfull of them gigs under my belt too. Wish I could shake them fuckers from the ole memory banks.....

Crowded House was my transition from the hair metal bands I listened to in middle school to the more alternative rock bands in high school and college. His lyrics have always just really spoken to me for some reason.

(11,797 posts)But I went from metal to The Crowes. There is nowhere in that range for Crowded House right? Of course we are speaking in the mindset of 80's to aught's kids whose identity was completely wrapped up in who they listened to. Such is the shame...

Now my kiddo wants me to teach her guitar. May be a sign.
