I dig her vocals and her ever changing lineup of street musicians are all really strong musicians.

Of all the youtube recommendations they give me, well - This one I actually did like

A couple of my favorites:

Love to see traditional music reinterperted. Who is that young lady on the coronet/Trumpet? She is awesome....

Edit to add....King Oliver....a 100 year old great interpretation of their music..
2nd edit. It's like Peanuts Hucko, Louis Armstrong, and Jack Teargarden are now playing again in this band. Totally awesome, I am a fan.

of Tuba Skinny. The band is terrific and Shaye is great, granddaughter of a famous musician, his name is here or in other materials, I forgot it.

article posted. They're so talented and inspiring, formed in New Orleans after Katrina in 2005 it says.

Shaye's skill and leadership stood out to me initially as well, very talented musician. They're all wonderful.

Enjoy! I adore New Orleans..

A great thread to showcase them. The best real NO band since Louis, I think. Now if they only get a Billy Miles playing piano, they.d be perfect.

And there are plenty of solid fans new and old.

And youtube is glorious.

Check out the channel of a dear friend of mine. His user name is "swingyoucats". He is a videographer and archivist of the genre.
