The Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd - Claire Torry, Vocals

And I am not frightened of dying
Any time will do, I don't mind
Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime
If you can hear this whispering you are dying

One of the greatest pure vocal performances done in a single take.

They told her the song was about dying and she just put her soul into it.

It was the tone of her voice and that 70’s scream she did so well.
