Miss ya momma! All’s good here. Started vacation Friday! Realized while setting up my out of office response that next Monday is a holiday! I fucked that up in my favor! LoL!
Zeppelin is ok. I don’t think I’ll ever have my boy back though. The phenobarbital was too much. He was beyond Tommy Chong, ya know. We are in the process of weening him off it for another drug and he’s less stoned, but it’s looking like he may have suffered some brain damage from those seizures he had. Breaks my heart. Don’t get me wrong, he’s ok. He’s just...off ya know?
Other than that, things are pretty good. I’m almost to a point that I may start managing my area instead of my area managing me, so that’s good. My customers (Charter/Spectrum) are finally looking at me as a team member, which is awesome! I had walked into this job with half my region knowing me and having worked with me in the past. Those guys were psyched I was taking over. My Kentucky guys though...fuck. They all hate my company and it’s been an uphill battle, but I’ve made serious headway. There’s only 1 manager down there I haven’t quite been able to click with. And really, he’s just....different. But I’ll take 11 of 12 regarding me as a teammate right?
Mom is still, well, I don’t know. She has her good days and bad. I was always a distant son. I’d talk to her 3 or 4 times a year and see her 2 or 3. Her illness has definitely brought us closer which is good. Brought me closer with my aunts too. Which is also great.
Other than that, how you all been? Everybody healthy?
