Probably one of the best Power Trios at the time. I remember watching In Concert every Friday night back in the early 70's...some of the bands on there were just amazing, as were these legends. I wish all the clips from that series were available.

1. In Concert was one of the highlights of my early life

Midnight Special was good, but IC had the better acts.
I remember watching this performance and loving it so much.

2. Went To A Midnight Special Taping

Held at the fieldhouse of University of Chicago.
Don't remember all the acts, but it was Strawbs, Head East john May all, Roxy Music, and a few others.
It was 2 programs taped, shown on consecutive weeks.
But, I agree that the biggest names ended up on ABC's In Concert.

3. Had That Album

I'm such a fan of the original Stevie version that this version didn't do it for me.
But Black Cat Moan was my fave off that disc. Smokin' song!
