Pre-show has a dude from England that is a true Deadhead - Sam Cutler....apparently he was their accountant after Lenny Hart absconded with $300K from the Dead.....great stories. He obviously loves this band dearly. What a fascinating dude.

Long Strange Trip - he was in that talking in a car and hears the police and he gets pulled over supposedly.

Should be good - 1972 was a great year for The Dead!

The sound is crisp and live. They do not disappoint. They were young, confident and live for millions to see on German TV in 1972. They took Europe by storm. They got the Dead......

All I am getting is a interview w/Weir.

No music.

It routes me to amazon and wants me to join something I think?

Can't tell you how many times that song has cropped up in my life. And don't want those stories spread around.

But now it's "Sugar Magnolia"

Ushered in every New Year at the Civic in SF, then in Oakland. To hell with that New Years ball drop in Times Square. That's how you celebrate the New Year!

Side note: Bill Graham always came out of the rafters at midnight, in some elaborate costume, Bill was terrified of heights, and would only do the New Year's entrance if Mr. Willie John Cashman, superb welder and old biker (and really nice guy) checked it out and told him it was safe.

Why not?

Life can be damned short, that's what I think these days.

Jerry at his peak - 30 yrs. old.
