Angelina has a passion for music that surpasses her years. She recorded this when she was just 11 years old as an homage to one of her favorites, Screamin Jay Hawkins.

1. "I Put a Spell on You" couldn't get airplay during the day and prime time

Recorded in what Hawkins and the band all described as an advanced stage of inebriation (their words), it was considered far too "primitive" for tender ears. So I tuned in after midnight, when it did get airplay.

He was a rare screwball, skull on a stick, arriving onstage in a coffin. Sadly, he was a lot more popular in Europe than he ever was here. The albums I have were made in France.
