I got to thinking about the parent/child pairs I've seen in concert

and came to realize that there are quite a few.

there are a few I missed as well...

I never had a chance to see Johnny Cash, but I saw Roseanne Cash in Buffalo.

I couldn't be paid enough to ever attend a Hank Williams Jr. show, but I saw Hank 3 in a bar in Little Rock AR.

I've seen Cedric Burnside several times but never had a chance o see his grandfather RL before he passed

But I have seen Greg and Devon Allman, Johnny Copeland and Shemekia Copeland, Lonnie Brooks and Ronnie Baker Brooks and Luther & Bernard Allison.

I have seen Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Vaughn and Jimmy's boy Tyrone Vaughn, back when he was playing with the Royal Southern Brotherhood.

RIP Yonrico - Gone much too soon

Parent/child performances, that’s an interesting subject. Now I’m trying to think of some more, but my pea brain cannot come up with any.

That'd be cool.

I know Shuggie Otis played with his dad Johnny for years as well as his solo stuff but I never got the chance to see them.

I saw Doc and Merle Watson playing a festival way back in 79 though
