How is everyone doing today?

It's a hot Sunday afternoon.

Brazing a pork loin in a vat of apple juice with a handful of coriander seeds and half cup of molasses.

Listening to acoustic guitarists - found this gem

Doc Watson transformed Bluegrass guitar, his talent was so huge it warped the entire genre

Here he is covering the Chet Atkins classic "Windy and Warm"

Harry Manx studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Bhatt is the inventor of the 20-stringed mohan veena, which has become Manx's signature instrument.

the Indian tuning, man - it takes a bit for me to get acclimated to it TBH

It's like drinking good bourbon with that classic brown sugar and charred oak barrel flavor and then next pour is a barrel proof peated Isla.

Yes they're both outstanding and both are legitimate examples of the craft, but I've never been able to just jump in and enjoy either right away.

I gotta ease into that 18 year old Ardbeg and that South Asian tonality

For some unknown reason he did a concert in Tennessee. I was lucky enough to find out about it and got to see him play and meet him later. He gave me a hug!!!!
