Was on the front row and probably one of my favorite concert experiences ever. Amos Lee and Elvis Costello had back to back opening sets, then out comes Dylan...but on an incredible show and halfway though Jack White came out and joined him. They played "One more cup of coffee" and "Outlaw Blues", first time that song had ever been played live by Dylan. Was a freaking magical night.

(Hope you're doing well Bro! Glad to see you around this place!)

Lucky you!

We saw Dylan once with Willie opening. It was terrible. Willie was awesome of course. Dylan must have had a cold or something. He sounded like he’d been on lsd, myth, what have you For theee days. His voice was literally like scratching a blackboard. I don’t think me n Mrs Glam made it more than 35 minutes before we walked out.

I know everyone has an off night. I’m not insulting the man. I just happened to crap out on this roll...

I wish say it was much worse during the time period he and Willie were doing those ballpark shows. Recently, instead of changing up the playlist every night, he's stuck to essentially the same set list every night which seems to have help him and the band.

Train the voice, and after awhile, you get bored so there might be slightly less emotion. But as a performer, ya know, kinda necessary. I learned early on I couldn’t put full emotion into every tune or else forget the third show....
