Nick Lowe was in the band and co-wrote it with his bandmates ... the song's similarity to Baba O'Riley becomes a bit more glaring in this version ...

The guitar work especially ... I never noticed it with Elvis' version.
Just now was the first time I listened to the original in a real long time and I'm like ... some parts sounds a lot like Baba ... not a total rip or anything.

Nick Lowe wrote it. He and Elvis worked together pretty closely back in the day.
