2. Van's music is awesome.

Back in the early 80's I was in a Boston bar, the Purple Onion, I think. This dude in back of me was trying to elbow his way to the bar....it was like 4 people deep, trying to get a drink or beer. I was annoyed, but when I turned around to tell him to wait his turn....it was Van! He said something like, "sorry Mate, need a drink badly". I was like, OK, Van, no problem! I think he was jamming there, after a show in Boston.
