Truly amazing to see them live. Perhaps, it was the atmosphere or the smoke or the other sundries but they sure sounded great live.

It is why Led Zeppelin are still in heavy rotation on my iPhone. Single most played band in my library.

Good morning, Glamrock!

I’m afraid I missed out..... born in 71 to a couple of squares. Not that I don’t adore them! But the family record collection consisted of:
2 ABBA Records
3 Barbara Streisand Records
1 Babs and Kris Kristofferson
1 Jethro Tull

Don’t know where I got my musical gene, but I’m betting possibly the time of Christ!

Consequently, my parents never took me to see Zeppelin....

Man, my folks listened to Glenn Campbell and Hank Williams. By the time I was 10, I was wearing tie dye and bell bottoms and had long hair, jumping fences to go to rock festivals...man did they ever try to straighten me out.

I think it was their square lifestyle that pushed us over the edge!

If you get a chance this morning take a listen to Tea For One. Seriously underplayed and imo one of their best blues/jazz compositions.

Peace!
