Serious misstep on my part. I had opportunities, but they never came through.

I'm not too optimistic now with the virus and all, but still hoping.

check out this comment: In the beginning he was the guitarist for Procul Harem. I saw him many times. In the late 60`s getting good sustain on your guitar was difficult, and he had great sustain. We were playing the Grande Ballroom and Procul played that night. I looked at his Marshall amp and saw he was playing through an Ampex tape recorder as a preamp to get his sound. I was floored. In order to be on time he had to play just slightly ahead of the rest of the band. I told him he was the best.

From the Paramounts, Procul Harum through to today. His guitar style is without a doubt, distinct and impeccable.

For your enjoyment, here is a remaster of the Paramounts doing Kansas City, released on the album "Ain't Nothin' to Get Excited About" by Liquorice John Death (the Paramounts).
