I didn't get any of Tom's albums until several years after first hearing "The Urge for Going" in early '66 on WBZ the Boston station I was able to tune into at night here in the DC area.

Have you ever seen him in person? I've seen him twice in the past 4 years (both times with Matt Nakoa too). He puts on such an entertaining show! He hangs out afterward to talk to fans, so I met him and got a picture with him. It was such a thrill to be able to do that after all those years.

7. Same here. It's the most poignant, evocative song.

Tom mentioned in both his shows how Joni Mitchell just gave it to him.

I hope he's able to resume touring if the Covid situation ever permits and he gets to your area. I'd love to see him again too.

Coming from New England, he was easy to get to hear. I read that he had covid earlier this year, glad to see he's doing well enough to perform now.
