But it's all the same basic genre ... the Fleet has some pretty Deep Purple-ish tunes, just not this one as much.

They're REALLY Zeppelin-ish though.

I've been saying for awhile they're a good band, they may eventually be great, but we'll see.

I def. like some of their songs and I dig the bands sound musically, but I listen to them only in limited doses because the singing is so one-dimensional. Robert Plant only sang like this some of the time.

Part of why I quite dig THIS song ... is how little singing there is

Not quite Achilles Last Stand, but that’s what it’s alluding to.

No way John Bonham would enter a track so weakly.

And where’s the bass?

I had better hush now. Not my thing.

13. You saying it suffers by comparison to the greatest song, by the greatest rock band, of all time?

Yeah, I will definitely stipulate to that

I'm just happy that decent, Zeppelin-ish music is still being made

My complaints about this band are mostly the singer myself (see post 11).

I think the song in post 5 above is the probably best Zeppelin ripoff since the Coverdale was trying to be Robert Plant.

That’s very obvious.

I suppose I have to hope that they will keep working on it and get better.

Singer seemed fine to me. I agree that the lyrics are weak.
